HOME
four loads of laundry- today- a big pot of spaghetti, chocolate chip cookies, " Hey, Mom can I have money for a haircut?" The kids are home from college, messy house, friends over, phones ringing, who could ask for a better Thanksgiving? Now if those papers would just read themselves and give themselves grades, life would be pretty near perfect.

Symposium
I submitted an abstract for The Southern Writers Symposium back in October and then promptly forgot about it.. Mostly nervous because I haven't written the paper and will have to present in frnt of a large group of people. Excited because hopefully this will help establish my credibility as a writer, and will help in my search for a full time lecturership which is a very frustrating proposition.
